Combination System

This set of plans will show you how to build the External Clock Lock Combination System along with 3 different styles of dials to choose from, each adding increasing complexity to the system. This locking system gets its name from the way the dials are used to enter the secret code into the lock. Each dial has 12 possible “stops”, just like a clock face. Once the code is entered, the knob on the right will release the lock securing the lid.  This is an indepth set of instructions for the complete build of this locking sytem that works with a hinge type lid.  This locking mecahnism is designed for the experienced woodworker and can be incorporated into any door, drawer or lid design.
